How this site makes money
At the moment, it does not. There is no enquiry form, no advertising and nothing to sign up to. If that changes, this page will say so before it happens, and it will say exactly who receives any details you choose to give.
We are not connected to any government department, council or energy supplier, and nobody has to pay to apply for any of the schemes described here.
How the information is kept current
Every page carries the date it was last checked and the sources used. Schemes in this area change often, so we re-check against Ofgem, GOV.UK, DESNZ guidance and Citizens Advice rather than copying other websites.

What we do not do
- We do not cold-call. If someone rings claiming to be from a government scheme, check with your council or supplier first.
- We do not ask which benefits you receive — a yes or no is all the eligibility check needs.
- We do not collect your details at all. The eligibility checker runs entirely in your browser and nothing is sent to us.
